I am from Georgia and love spending time on the North Carolina coast, hoping to one day retire there. Many family and friends who have visited and stayed in the house have also fallen in love with all it has to offer.  Some have even bought their own properties!

 

Why Southport and Oak Island?

I just love the Southport area and all it has to offer including waterfront dining, fishing, sailing, shopping and some great golf courses with reasonable greens fees.  And I just love the great, uncrowded white beach of Oak Island and all the fun water activities there including shelling, kayaking, surfing, jet skis, crabbing and paddle-boarding, to name just a few!  I visited many areas and plantations along the east coast, and this area was my favorite by far - an easy choice buy a lot and build a custom, oceanfront retreat!  It was quite exciting to have Nicolas Sparks choose Southport as the setting for his 2013 Major Motion Picture, 'Safe Haven'.  Book a stay in Must Sea Beach House - you won't be disappointed!
